Anaeho'omalu Bay

Beautiful white sand just a stone’s throw from popular resorts

A Popular Destination

Couples looking for a busier, active venue for their nuptials need to look no further than Anaeho'omalu Bay. Known as A-Bay to locals, this classic white sand beach located on the South Kohala coast is a popular destination for travelers and locals alike due to its excellent swimming and snorkeling and its proximity to multiple resorts.

A Centrally-Located Paradise

Due to its central location, A-Bay is an ideal wedding venue for the couple that would like a catered dinner at their reception dine at the nearby resorts. This picturesque white sand beach is a short distance from resorts, such as the Marriott Waikoloa and Hilton. The popular Lava Lava Beach Club is in walking distance. Because there is no eating allowed on the beach, we will be able to book you a private dinner at one of these nearby resorts, and we can provide a sparkling toast on the beach before returning for dinner. For your wedding party of up to 20 people total, travel is a breeze because there is plenty of accessible parking at the beach.

Important Notes about A-Bay

A-Bay is one of the popular public beaches in the area so this venue is not for those looking to have a secluded wedding away from other beachgoers. This is an excellent environment for energetic couples who like to be in the thick of it, and we have extensive experience getting the most out of this beloved location. It can get hot in the middle of the day so your wedding planner will arrive early to set up your ceremony beneath shaded palms, and we will provide beach cushions, an idyllic wedding arch, and a small table for the toast.
